Es schwang eine deutlich hörbare Kritik an Salzburger Land Tourismus aber auch am ORF in den Worten der Veranstalter der Österreich Rundfahrt als sie über die diesjährige Tour berichteten.

St. Johann wird die Königsetappe der Tour ihr Ziel haben, die Etappe über den Großglockner der derzeit bis zum 27 April vom Schnee befreit wird.

Die Kritik gegen Salzburger Land Tourismus zielte darauf ab das man trotz der wichtigen Königsetappe über den Großglockner sich nicht am Event beteiligen wird und so auch nicht dabei ist.

Die Kritik am ORF war ganz klar und Deutlich, wir haben nicht das Geld dem ORF es zu bezahlen das sie eine Live Berichterstattung einzelner Etappen wie die am Großglockner zu machen. Unser Sport, der Radsport ist nun mal ein Sport der nicht auf ein Spielfeld passt oder in eine Halle und so bedarf es ein anderen Logistischen Aufwand der Berichterstattung und dazu ist man offensichtlich nicht bereit.

So wird die Tour in dem Jahr auch um einen Tag kürzer sein als die letzten Jahre den die Finanziellen Mittel erlauben nicht das man die Tour weiter in dem Umfang durchführt wie bisher.

Aber es wird so wie es AKTIVNEWS im Nachtgespräch erfahren hat auch eine Durchfahrt oder gar eine Etappe in Bayern geben und man hoffe so das gerade die Bevölkerung in Bayern das Flair und das Feeling des Radsportes live zu erleben.
